The partners of the RESDINET project (Network for novel remote sensing technologies in forest disturbance ecology) of the HORIZON EUROPE scheme, coordinated by the Institute of Forest Ecology SAS, met in the kick-off meeting from February 20 to February 23 at our institute. This opening meeting was organized mainly to coordinate the following tasks within the individual workpackages. During the kick-off meeting, the first of the scientific workshops planned as part of the project entitled “Advances in new sensors and data processing development related to forest disturbance ecology” was also held. In addition to the 15 participants of the kick-off meeting in Zvolen, 36 online participants, mainly from Sweden and Finland, took part in the workshop.
