Influence of Abiotic and Biotic Stresses on Properties of Plants 2019

Between the 3rd and 5th September 2019, the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague was host to 61 people attending 9th international conference „Influence of Abiotic and Biotic Stresses on Properties of Plants 2019“ with a special focus on the issue of the plant root system and its relation to a changing environment. Our colleagues from the Institute of Forest Ecology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Ing. Ján Kukla, CSc. and Ing. Margita Kuklová, CSc., and the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, were organizers of that successful event.


The conference brought together diverse group of people, among them 29 from Slovakia. 5 invited papers, 10 papers from varied disciplines, and 23 posters were presented. A company Ekotechnika s.r.o. has been a conference partner for a long time. A broad portfolio of equipment for diagnostics of environment presented during the conference attracted attention of all participants. The same was the case for the company EGT system, spol. s r.o., a presentation on growth regulators enhancing the development of root system has aroused a lot of interest.
